About John
John Burke started his career in mortgage lending back in 2007 with Summit Mortgage in Chicago, Il. Preceding financial crisis he was focused on helping borrowers get in secure financial positions with FHA and conventional loans. With the unfortunate closing of Summit Mortgage he then moved to New York City to transition his knowledge of lending into a career as a real estate agent with Metropolitan Property Group.
John quickly began building relationships with both residential and commercial property managers to diversify his ability to best serve potential clients. It was during this time when John met and married his wife and they quickly started started raising their new family together in a one bed room condo. They realized that they needed more room for their new family and moved to Redondo Beach to be with family and friends.
Rejoining the mortgage industry in 2019, John now serves as a loan officer in Torrance, Ca. Working with a broker allows John to offer conventional, FHA and VA, non qualifying mortgages, and reverse mortgages. Real estate agents and John's personal clients all have had a great experience with the service John provides them.
